NATURAL REMEDIES FOR MOLD WALLS
Do not give in immediately to the laws of chemistry and the market, when faced with a few stains of mold in the house or in the garage and cellar. Bleach, as far as possible, should be avoided: it is aggressive and polluting. Natural remedies are better.
Mold on the walls of the house is a problem that occurs mainly in old houses or in which there is not a good air exchange. Although sometimes viewed as a simple blemish, it can actually have serious health implications and cause respiratory problems and allergic reactions. In fact, mold is made up of microorganisms such as bacteria and spores that are dispersed in the air we breathe, exposing us to potential health damage.
Once you have noticed the presence of mold on the walls of the house, try to understand the reason why it formed. If it appeared following a water infiltration, contact an expert in order to investigate the extent of the problem. Unfortunately, even if you eliminate it, mold forms again if the problem that caused it is not resolved.
HOW TO REMOVE MOLD FROM WALLS
If, on the other hand, the problem is not caused by water infiltration, here are some useful remedies that will allow you to eliminate mold and counteract its formation:
– First of all, if you have noticed the presence of humidity in the house, take some useful precautions that will help you to keep the problem under control such as limiting the number of plants, avoiding drying clothes inside the house and installing extractor hoods and fans in the bathroom and kitchen.
– If you have to paint the walls of the house, choose an anti-mold paint: compared to normal paint, it allows the wall to transpire and therefore limits the formation of mold.

Let’s now see what are the natural products that allow you to eliminate mold from the walls of the house without resorting to chemicals:
SODIUM BICARBONATE
Just dilute it in water and then use the compound obtained to clean the walls: in this way you will also eliminate the stains.

Coarse salt is able to capture moisture: place a container in the rooms most affected by the problem.

You can also fight mold with citrus extract. Dilute 20 drops of citrus extract in two cups of water, mix, pour the mixture into a spray bottle and spray on the stain to be treated. Let it act for a few hours and then rinse with water. Good results can also be obtained by adding 2 teaspoons of tea tree oil to the water: spray the mixture obtained on the surfaces affected by mold.
DO IT YOURSELF MOLD
And here are some DIY solutions to prepare effective anti-mold cleaners at home:

With 100ml of food alcohol and 15 drops of lavender essential oil, you will slow down the growth of mold on bathroom tiles and shower curtains. Spray the mixture on the affected areas, let it act and then remove the mold stains with a brush. If you want to prevent the formation of mold, you can also spread lavender oil with an essence burner, which will also give an excellent fragrance to the environment.
If mold has attacked the books, you can clean them using talcum powder: first clean the pages with a rag and then sprinkle them with talcum powder. Let it act for about an hour and then remove the excess powder.
